Shoaf Plantation is a small farm in Davidson County, 3 miles west of Lexington North Carolina, where we raise and sell Registered NIGERIAN DWARF goats. Our property is just a small part of a vast acreage that my Grandpa Shoaf once farmed, Hence our name. Our goats are registered with the American Goat Society (AGS). Most of our goats are also registered with the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA). We have a closed herd to protect the health of our goats. Our herd has been tested for CAE and Johne's (Fall of 2022) and is free of these diseases. Nigerian Dwarf goats are similar to Pygmy goats in size, but Nigerians have a more colorful coat and give more milk. Nigerian Dwarf goats are miniature milk goats. We feel that we are blessed by God, our Creator, to have the opportunity to raise these wonderful creatures. We have been raising goats for 40+ years and thoroughly enjoy it. All of our goats are our pets. We keep them well maintained, healthy, and as happy as possible. We normally only sell the kids. Our goal is to make you happy with a beautiful goat kid in your arms.

Almost all of our kids are sold to customers who are on our WAITING LIST.
If you want kids from us, Please get on our waiting list.
If YOU want to start kids bottle feeding, kids can be purchased and picked up within their first 3-10 days of their life.
Mom raised kids must stay here and nurse their mom for 6 weeks before leaving our farm, but they can be reserved for a Nonrefundable $100 deposit when you select your kid.

Registerable Doelings--------- Starting at $450.
Registerable Bucklings---------Starting at $300.
If you wish, we will neuter a buckling for FREE, when he is 3 months old.
